We would like to proudly endorse Jimmy Roberts for reelection as Bingham County Coroner. Coroner Roberts has demonstrated a consistent commitment to improving medicolegal death investigation through training, collaboration, and leadership at both the county and regional level. He has been instrumental in advancing the coalition’s mission to establish consistent standards, strengthen professional certification, and improve access to forensic resources across eastern Idaho. His willingness to invest his time, expertise, and personal resources into this work reflects a level of dedication that benefits not only Bingham County, but the entire region. Jimmy Roberts has made a measurable and lasting impact on the Bingham County community by transforming the coroner’s office into a more professional, structured, and accessible resource for families and partner agencies. Through improved training standards, better equipment, and responsible use of funding, he has increased the quality and reliability of death investigations while reducing costs to taxpayers. He has built strong relationships with law enforcement, fire, EMS, hospitals, and community organizations, creating a more coordinated and effective response when deaths occur. His leadership has also expanded opportunities through internship programs and community involvement, helping develop future professionals while providing valuable services at no additional cost. Most importantly, his work has ensured that families receive compassionate, thorough, and respectful care during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
